Symphony of Light Interactive installation

Work UX/UI design, Development

An interactive game projected onto a building during Illuminate Bath, a festival of light and interactivity.

Based on a projector and some pressure pads, the idea was to 'play the building' using the pentatonic scale. Each time someone stepped in one of the 5 mats a musical note was played, one of the windows lit up and abstract shapes came out of it. The goal was to fill the lower windows with shapes.

I designed the idea and coded the experience in Adobe Flex, with support from Elena Saenz de la Torre and Bath Spa University.

It was very rainy, but people had fun with it!
